Careful is faster.

Electrical work that is rushed gets done twice. Most of what follows is just a list of the places where taking longer at the start costs less at the end.

How the work is organised

A small number of jobs at once

Scheduling fewer jobs than the calendar could hold is what makes it possible to finish one before starting the next, and to turn up on the day that was agreed.

The panel is the honest place to start

Most electrical problems in an older building trace back to capacity or to a connection. Looking there first is faster than working inward from the symptom.

Written down, not remembered

Circuit labels, test results and a record of what was changed. It costs twenty minutes at the end of a job and saves hours on the next one, whoever carries it out.

About this website

Caliper Electric is not a real company. This site is a concept created by CAI to demonstrate the design and build quality of the websites we make for small businesses.

Nothing here has been invented to look impressive. There are no reviews, ratings, license numbers, certifications, response time promises, staff profiles, service areas, addresses or phone numbers on this site, because none of them would be real. The photographs are licensed demonstration images and do not show work by the business named above. The request form validates properly but sends nothing anywhere.

Describe what it is doing.

A sentence about the symptom and a photograph of the panel is usually enough to get a useful answer back.
