How a visit actually goes

Before the visit

A description and a photograph of the panel are usually enough to bring the right parts. If it needs a permit or a utility appointment, you are told at this point, not on the day.

On the day

Shoes off, drop cloths down, and the circuits you still need left live wherever that is possible. Anything found that changes the price stops the work until you have agreed it.

After

Circuits labelled at the panel, the work area cleaned, and a written record of what was installed, what was tested, and anything worth watching.
