Made at the bench, for one hand.

Engagement and wedding rings, designed with you and made by hand. You choose the metal, the stone and the shape. We make exactly that.

A ring is three things, made well.

  1. The stone

Chosen with you, from a small number shown side by side in daylight. Its cut decides how it handles light, so the setting is designed around it, not the other way round.

  2. The setting

Four claws, shaped by hand, hold the stone at the girdle. They are the smallest part of the ring and the part that decides how secure it is for decades.

  3. The band

Cast or forged, then filed to the profile you choose. It is the part you feel every day, so its inside edge gets as much attention as the outside.

Design yours

Change anything and the ring changes with you. Drag it, or use the buttons, to turn it.

Your ringRound diamond in 18k yellow gold, court band

Four metals, chosen for how they wear.

All four are strong enough for a ring worn every day. The difference is colour, weight, and how each one ages.

  • 18k yellow gold

Three quarters pure gold. Warm, traditional, and it wears a soft patina over years.

  • 18k rose gold

The same gold, alloyed with copper for its colour. Flattering on most skin tones.

  • 18k white gold

Usually finished with rhodium for its bright white. The finish is renewed every few years.

  • Platinum

Naturally white, dense and heavy in the hand. Needs no plating.

From a conversation to your hand.

  1. Consultation

An unhurried conversation about what you have in mind, what you do not, and the hand it is for. You leave with a sketch and a written estimate.

  2. Drawing

The ring is drawn to scale, then modelled so you can turn it on screen exactly as you can on this page, before anything is made.

  3. Approval

You see a wax or printed model at true size and try it on. Changes are made here, where they cost nothing.

  4. Making

The band is cast or forged, the setting is built, and the claws are shaped. Every stage is filed and checked by eye and by loupe.

  5. Setting and finishing

The stone is set by hand, the metal is polished, and the ring is measured against the drawing one last time.

  6. Collection

You collect it in person. Sizing, cleaning and claw checks afterwards are part of the ring, not an extra.

Sizing, timing and the rest

How do I know my ring size?

We measure at the consultation, at a comfortable temperature, with the same profile of band you are choosing, because a wide flat band fits differently from a narrow court band. If the ring is a surprise, bring a ring that is worn on the same finger.

Can a ring be resized later?

Most can, by a size or so either way. Some designs, such as stones set all the way round the band, cannot be resized easily. We tell you which kind yours is before it is made.

How long does it take?

It depends on the design and the stone, so you get a date at the consultation rather than a guess here.

Can I use a stone or metal I already have?

Often, yes. Bring it to the consultation. We will look at it under a loupe and tell you honestly whether it can be reused and what that involves.

What does it cost?

It depends on the metal, the stone and the work involved. You get a written estimate at the consultation, before anything is ordered or made.

Start with a conversation.

Bring an idea, a photo, a family stone, or nothing at all. You leave with a sketch and a written estimate, and no obligation.
